Welcome Bienvenue Bienvenido Willkommen Welkom

Welcome to An Óige Hillwalkers Club website. Here you will find all the club's news and information online including the latest programme of walks and events organised by the club.

An Óige Hillwalkers Club was started in 1993 (Óige is Irish for Youth) and is based in Dublin, Ireland. The club organises a hike each Sunday on the Wicklow and Dublin mountains for active walkers. Once a month the club organises an Introductory Hillwalker Hike which allows non members to try out a hike before joining the club.

After a day's hiking many of the hillwalkers like to socialise in The Palace Bar on Fleet Street in Dublin City and enjoy a few social drinks!

The club produces a magazine called The Hillwalker each month, which is emailed to all our members and is posted online on this website. The Website is now in its 11th year online, and includes all issues of the magazine from 1993 in the Archive section of the Menu on the left.

If after flicking through the rest of the site you have any queries our contact details can be found in the 'Contact Us' section.

See you out on the hills!
